The world erupted in cheers as Ghana dramatically secured a late victory over Panama in their opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Caleb Yirenkyi scoring in the fifth minute of stoppage time to seal a 1-0 win in Toronto.
Despite a slow start from the Ghanaian team, they were able to get the full three point.
