The Chiefs and Elders of the Royal Loafe Clan of Anlo and Torgbi Akwaah III's family of Alakple have officially announced the burial date for the late Zikpuitor David Kwaku Tormeti.
The burial date for the renowned custodian of the Royal Akwaah’s stool, which is one of the oldest War Stools in Anlo is Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Alakple RC School Park, Alakple, in the Anloga District of the Volta Region. Other pre-burial rites and activities will commence from Thursday, May 28, 2026, in his ancestral home, Alakple.
Zikpuitor’s sad demise occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the age of 82.
The very affable and down-to-earth man was a family man and left behind his wife, Madam Mariama Issifu and 3 Children.
