Torgbi Dr. Addo IX of Klikor & Dr. Dzakpasu Launch a Book on Primary Care Network in Ghana

The newly installed Paramount Chief of the Klikor Traditional Area, Torgbi Dr. Addo IX and Dr. Alphonse Makafui Dzakpasu have launched a research work on Primary care Network in Ghana on Monday, March 16, 2026. The event took place at Klikor in the Ketu South Municipal of the Volta Region.

The book (tool kits) under the heading, Appreciative Inquiries for Primary Care Network in Ghana was put together by a team of Scholars from Ghana and Kenya. With immense contributions from organizations and individuals such as Dr. Alphonse Makafui Dzakpasu and his team.

This research work is a practical guide for using strength-based approach in health services improvement. It will also serves as a guide and aid to both health workers and communities for the betterment of life and service delivery.

Torgbi Dr. Addo IX, who also launched his "clean-up exercise" initiative in his jurisdiction on Sunday, March 15, 2026, was so excited about the book. And urged his people to put to good use the contents and the findings in the book.

On his part, the Ketu South Municipal Medical Superintendent, Dr. Alphonse Makafui Dzakpasu, who gave the key note address, expressed his appreciation to the authors of the book. And commended Mr. Godwin Yao Azameti and Madam Matilda Galley the coordinators of the event for their great job done by putting the event together.

The ceremony was graced by Torgbi Akpalu Agbali II, Torgbi Afadi III, Torgbi Mane IV, Mama Hodzige II, Mama Moli II, Mama Mamley II, Mr. David Yao Agbokpe, Municipal Director of Ghana Health Service, Hon. Eric Nukporfe, Rev. Heyford Appiah, Madam Matilda Edem Galley, Principal Physician Assistant, Elders of Klikor and representatives from Kisumu County Department of Medical Services and Public Health, Kenya, Dr. Joram Abiero and Mrs. Maureen Opiyo.
