The Agave Clan of Anlo and the people of Atiteti have out-doored a newly installed Agbotadua Fui & Mama Awagashie II of Torgbi Adelashie Kotor’s stool.
The ceremony took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Atiteti in the Anloga District of the Volta region.
There was also a reaffirmation of oath for Torgbi Adelashie Kotor III, Dufia of Atiteti-Fuveme.
Agbotadua Fui is a Teacher by profession at Anlo Zion College (Zico) and former Assembly member, and Mama Awagashie II is also a Teacher and businesswoman with many years of experience.
Torgbi Adelashie Kotor III who was installed 25 years ago was full of excitement for having new lieutenants to help him continue his reign as the Dufia of Atiteti-Fuveme.
He called for unity among his people and stressed that is only through unity that they can develop as a town.
On his part, the Guest of Honor of the ceremony, Hanua Dr. Attipeo Kodzo Olympio highlighted the decay of their unique culture and tradition which are being adulterated by modernism and foreign religious beliefs.
He further emphasized that, because of modern education and beliefs, we have neglected the legacies and traditions bequeathed to us by our forefathers. And we are feeling ashamed of the culture and traditions of our forebears.

Dr. Attipoe also made reference to an issue stated by Awadada Agbesi Awusu II some days ago at a reconciliation ritual in Anloga, where he lamented about the lack of unity and involvement of the Chiefs from the 36 states of Anlo. He rhetorically questioned if truly the 36 states that the Anlos boast of still exist?
The ceremony was Chaired by Awadada Agbesi Awusu II, who reiterated the need for peace and unity among the people of Atiteti. And reminded them to collectively support the chief in developing the area.
The ceremony was graced by Torgbi Subo II, Togbi Goh III, Togbi Hatsu III, Togbi Haxormene IV, Agbotadua Wisdom Akpabli, Hon. Seth Yormewu, former DCE of Anloga, Hon. Joseph Kpata, PM Anloga District, Hon. Raphael Agbanavor, Assembyman of Atiteti-Fuveme, Mr. Jerome Afetorgbor, the Principal of Anlo technical Institute, Mad. Nutifafa Kwawukume, Headmistress of Anlo Zion College and her staff and students, Old Students of Mawuli School and the Elders and the good people of Atiteti.
