The Concerned teachers and parents of pupils in the Basic Schools under the Anloga District in the Volta Region of Ghana have staged a demonstration today, February 24, 2026, for the removal of the District Director of Ghana Education Service, Dominic Yao Dzanado.
According to sources available to OneForumNews1-Accra, this is the first time ever that such a thing has taken place in Anloga.
The Teachers and the Parents dressed in red, singing Anlo’s war songs accused the Director of alleged Mismanagement, Intimidation and Administrative abuse within the Anloga District.
In their petition, the very committed and selfless teachers and parents raised 13 strong allegations against the Director, which need urgent attention by the government. As they attributed the fallen standards of education in Anloga and its surrounding communities to his mismanagement and misconducts.
Despite all efforts by the Directorate to frustrate the demonstrators, the event was successful and they presented their petition to the DCE of Anloga District, Hon. Sandra Kpedor.
She received the petition on behalf of the President of Ghana and assured the demonstrators of working on it to get their grievances and concerns resolved.
