Two students who were victims of bee sting in Anloga E.P Basic School in the Anloga District of the Volta Region were laid to rest last Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
The funeral service was held in the school premises in Anloga. The victims, Theodora Nutifafa Amewovi 9 years and Michael Kwadzo Kumeko 4years were sadly buried in a solemn ceremony.

The unfortunate incident happened on December 7, 2025, and affected pupils were 19 but 17 survived as confirmed by the headteacher Mr. Korbla Thywill Denoo.
Some few donations came through to support the families of the victims including a heart touching one from two young children who reside outside Ghana who were compelled to break their money box to donate everything to the mothers of the victims.
Their donation was made on their behalf by their grandmother, Madam Lena Segla Kuda.
Speaking to OneForumNews1-Accra after visiting the families, the Managing Director of Senyo Traditional TV, Mr. John Yao Agbetsiafa appealed to the general public, individuals and groups to donate to support the families of the victim.

He further cautioned that students, teachers and headmasters to be very vigilant and cautious in order for this tragic incident not to repeat itself in any school again.
