The Management and Staff of Senyo Traditional TV (STTV) have launched their Youtube channel on Sunday, March 16, 2025, in Anlo-Afiadenyigba, in the Keta Municipal of the Volta region. The Anlo and Ewe based TV channel is to promote and preserve culture and traditions of the good people of Ewe land.
And to juxtapose the olden days of life and living and the current ones in order to teach the present generation and the unborn generations to know where they are coming from and where they are going.
STTV, is where tradition meets Creativity and is on from Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Kindly subscribe and stay tuned for unadulterated teachings and learning about the past, present and the future of Ewes of Africa.
The launching took place in the Palace of Torgbi Akamu V and was hosted by 2 adorable icons, Mama Wonutoedzim Fugah who is a 110-year-old lady who was a trader and a celebrated traditional singer in her days. And Mr. Eric Kumah Lavoe, the regent of Torgbi Kwakutsey Boafoh, who is a retired educationist and Agriculturist.
Mama Wonutoedzim Fugah narrated their old ways of living decently and dressed in their clothes with every sensitive part of the body well covered. She expressed disappointment on the ways the young ones are dressing these days with ladies in trousers every time and the men some wearing earrings.

Mama also recalled how they travelled all around the towns and villages of Anlo with their drumming and singing group and spent many days entertaining their patrons.
On his part, the 92-year-old Mr. Eric Kumah Lavoe spoke on his educational exploits and as an Agriculturalist. He also responded passionately, to the new changes that are taking place in the chieftaincy institution today. And admonished the young ones to be obedient and learn from their elders.
Mr. John Agbodzi Agbokemea also spoke on the indigenous drumming and dancing of the people of Anlo. Some of which have transformed over the years into the new drumming and dancing groups we have today.
Speaking to OneForumNews1, the CEO and Manager of the STTV, Mr. John Yao Agbetsiafa, expressed his excitement at the successful launch and promised that he and his team will deliver the best of programmes that audience and viewers will never experience anywhere
He further called on the general public, the youth and the old to pay attention to our culture and traditions and preserve them so that they will not go extinct right before their eyes.
Mr. Agbetsiafa also expressed his appreciation to his wife Madam Matilda Tsoene Yelineku and Torgbi Akamu V for their support during the launching.
