The Climax of the Traditional Festival of Amegah Kpotsu & Sod-cutting slated for Sunday, September 22, 2024

The traditional festival of the Amegah Kpotsu of Klikor Unity has begun, and the traditional leaders and their subordinates have started gathering for the celebration.

The climax of the programme is slated for Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 1:30pm and will take place at Klikor Unity in the Ketu South District of the Volta Region.

The final Durbar and the sod-cutting ceremony of Senyo Herbal Centre will be graced by the distinguish Torgbi Zonyra IV, who is a Traditional leader from Anloga, a teacher/lecturer in Toronto Canada, belong to the Ontario College of Teachers and Ontario Institute of Planners and currently, the Chair and Founder of Ewe Royals in Canada.

The Guest of honour is Torgbi Akamu V, of Anlo-Afiadenyigba. An astute entrepreneur and businessman, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sadaco Brothers Business Ventures (SBBV), and he is involved in other economic ventures, including Real Estate, Education, Salt Mining and Export.

The theme for the celebration is “Relevance of our Culture to our Health". And the Guest speaker is Torgbi Zonyra IV. This Annual festival is celebrated to reflect on the Customs and Traditions of the Ewes and the legacies of the forefathers, most of which have been neglected and shredded into pieces by modernism and culture assimilations.
