The government of Ghana has announced that Petrol and diesel prices are expected to drop from October 16, bringing relief to motorists and businesses.
At a time when fuel prices remain high in many parts of the world, Ghana is expecting a reduction. President John Dramani Mahama's administration deserves credit for its efforts to ease the burden on Ghanaians, although global market conditions also influence fuel prices.
This is welcome news. We hope prices continue to fall!
