In a dramatic turn of events in Ghana, the “Zangbetor gods” in the Volta Region have joined the NDC’s demonstration in Ghana to protest against the Electoral Commission.
Whether there is some spiritual connotations to the gods joining the demonstration in the Volta region is still unknown. But what is known is, the “Zangbetor gods” are mostly used to entertain people at traditional and historical celebrations and festivals in the Volta region of Ghana.
Some critics are of the view that instead of the NDC members to go and campaign effectively and win, they chose to go and dance with the "gods" in the streets. They however, quickly added that, it is their democratic right to demonstrate.
