The planning committee and executive members of the Amega-kportsu Traditional Group of Klikor is inviting the general public to take part in their annual Cultural Festival and sod-cutting ceremony on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 1:30pm at Klikor-Unity.
According to sources close to the planning committee, this year's annual festival grand durbar is under the theme; "Relevance of our Culture to our Health" and the Guest of Honour is Torgbi Akamu V of Anlo-Afiadenyigba and the Guest Speaker is Torgbi Zonyra IV of Anloga, all in the Volta Region of Ghana.
This Annual festival is celebrated to reflect on the Customs and Traditions of the Ewes and the legacies of the forefathers, most of which have been neglected and shredded into pieces by modernism and culture assimilations.
It is the hope of the organizers that this yearly programme will help revive and throw more lights on the uniqueness of the Legacies, Culture and Traditions of the generations before us.
