(Security): The 21 Teenagers Abducted in Katsina Freed

The 21 teenagers kidnapped by terrorists in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State, have regained their freedom after many days in captivity.

The children between the ages of 15 and 18 years, were kidnapped while working on a farm at Kamfanin Mai Lafia village last Sunday afternoon at about 12:30 pm.

The spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Gambo Isah confirmed their release in a statement on Saturday, November 5. But did not state whether ransom was paid to the abductors before their release.

He said the victims comprising 17 girls and four boys have since been reunited with their respective families as investigations continue to bring the perpetrators.
