(Crime): A 3-year-old Girl found alive inside well three days after she was Missing

 

A great joy as 3-year-old, Lydia Azatyom was found inside an abandoned well three days after she went missing in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

She was last seen playing with friends outside their house on Thursday, October 27, 2022 before she disappeared without any trace of her. And there was a serious fear that she might have been kidnapped as Nigeria struggles with kidnapping cases over the years.

The family and neighbours did all that they could to find her but to no avail. At last after three days of missing, one Dauda Dung confirmed that she has been found though not in very good condition but alive..

According to sources, some young men found the little Lydia inside an abandoned well in an uncompleted building within her area. It was reported that the young men had visited the site to ease themselves and heard sounds of movement inside the dry well. The building had long been abandoned and now used for open defecation and dumping.

As to what took her there and why still remains unknown. The little Lydia sustained bruises around her head and was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.
