NPP Asante Mampong Parliamentary Aspirant Beatrice Owarewa Siaw Reportedly Dies
Beatrice Owarewa Siaw, popularly known as Nana Yaa, an aspiring parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Asante Mampong Constituency, has reportedly died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
Reports emerging on Saturday, August 8, 2026, indicate that the NPP parliamentary hopeful and member of the party’s Council of Patrons passed away at the hospital.
According to a close source cited by Asaase Radio, Nana Yaa had reportedly driven herself to KATH after complaining of body weakness and was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
