For two months now, I have had one of my best moments in Ghana. Not because I have won a lottery, neither have I been given an appointment in the Government of the President of Ghana, H. E. John Dramani Mahama.
However, despite all the difficulties and economic situations in the Country Ghana, I feel a "free man" and can even sleep soundly on an empty stomach with no money in my pocket. Because I have a President that I can call my President.
This is just a different Ghana! From the calibre of people appointed, to the genuine efforts of the President and his Cabinet to get things on track for a better future.
Even if this government fails after these two months, I can proudly say that:
1) I can now sleep soundly even with an empty stomach and without money in my pocket.
2) I can sleep in the dark with light out without any much hurts.
3) I have a President who is showing the signs that he cares about his people.
4) I have Ministers who know that citizens are watching them and will not misbehave publicly.
5) The Economy will recover no matter how long.
6) Known names and friends are occupying strategic positions, though some of them will stop picking calls.
7) And finally, the individual hustling continues unabated, because we must all work together to build a better Ghana.
I wish you well my President, H. E. John Dramani Mahama.
