The case of Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, daughter of former president Jacob Zuma, has been remanded for a pre-trial conference in the High Court in Durban on August 14.
Zuma-Sambudla made a brief appearance in the High Court this morning on charges of incitement of terrorism and violence.
The state alleges that she used her X account during the widespread unrest in July 2021 to incite and support violence to put pressure on authorities to release her father.
The unrest broke out after Zuma started to serve a 15-month prison term for contempt of court.
