President George Weah of Liberia Defeated by Joseph Boakai

George Weah has lost his re-election to Joseph Boakai in the runoff election in Liberia.

The 78-year-old former vice president Joseph Boakai beats the celebrity president and former football star George Weah (57). 

Boakai had 50.89% of the vote and George had 49.11% of the vote. A very narrow victory for the veteran politician.
