The Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Gertrude Torkornoo has praised the leadership style of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare, describing it as exceptional.
“I must say that I have found your leadership of the police extremely inspirational. I think it’s only a blind person who would not have noticed how much you have achieved in such a short time to rebrand the image of the police.” the Chief justice said.
Over the years, the professional image of the Ghana Police service sank so low that it lost its intergrity and values. But within a short period of time in office, the current IGP has being able to revive the image of the police service.
And Justice Torkornoo went on to assure the IGP of her unwavering support and encouraged him to continue to maintain law and order in the Ghanaian society.
