The Chiefs and people of Nogokpo in the Volta Region of Ghana held a press conference on Friday, June 2, 2023 and summoned Archbishop Charles Agyin Asare to meet the Council of Elders of Nogokpo in person within 14 days, failure of which they will advise themselves.
This press conference is in relation to the reckless and uncalled for statements made by the Archbishop and the founder of Perez Chapel International on a pulpit to a congregation that included some sons and daughters of the Volta Region in general and Nogokpo in particular.
He demonized the Nogokpo town and its people and the Chiefs and people are not happy and therefore, met the press on the issue. They called on the Peace council and Christian Council of Ghana to help Archbishop Charles Agyin Asare to appear before them within 14 days for amicable resolution.
They also called on the appropriate authorities to bring Archbishop Charles Agyin Asare and the likes of him to book.
